The band — guitarist/vocalist Gary Lightbody, guitarists Johnny McDaid and Nathan Connolly, bassist Paul Wilson and drummer Jonny Quinn — broke into the mainstream in 2003 with their stunning album Final Straw, featuring hit Run.
Eyes Open, released in 2006, saw them propelled to a global audience as massive hit single Chasing Cars went on to become UK radio’s most played song of the 21st century.
After taking some time out, Snow Patrol returned last year with Wildness – their first studio album in seven years - following its success with a live tour which included a homecoming gig in front of 35,000 fans in Bangor, Northern Ireland.
