Rhodes too good for Wyatt
The Scarborough welterweight won all four rounds to claim a 40-36 success in his fourth professional outing, maintaining his 100 per cent record in the paid ranks.
“I thought that I performed very well on the night, this was my best performance to date,” Rhodes reflected.

Hide Ad“I kept it simple and didn’t do anything flamboyant but I felt in control the whole way through the fight and dictated the pace. It was easy really.
“I caught Wyatt coming forward a few times and landed well to the body. He had plenty of marks on him by the end.
“He told me after the fight that I nearly had him out in the second with a couple of body shots, so overall I’m very pleased with how it went.”
