Hide AdAn attritional second half saw the Humbersiders shave the lead to a couple of points with a penalty goal; a real end-to-end final quarter saw Martin snatch the late winner of a dour encounter.
They say ‘a win is a win’ but Lee Douglas’s men will have to improve if they are to come away from Clifton Park with the points on Saturday.
The Seasiders will be looking for a repeat of the result from the first home game of the season when they came out of a hard-fought game on the right side of a 20-17 scoreline.
Graham Hogg and Mikey Readman return to action for this one and young Joe Holliday who made a promising start on the wing at Hull, is also in the squad.

The Vikings don’t have a game this weekend, but the Norsemen are in action under floodlights tonight at Pocklington; kick-off 7.30pm.
On Sunday the Valkyries take on Bishop Auckland ladies at Silver Royd at 2pm.
