Scarborough Saturday League XI beaten by York rivals
York dominated possession and went 1-0 up after 20 minutes at Mill Lane.
Scarborough keeper Jordan Wood then made couple of good reaction saves to keep York at bay, but he couldn't prevent them doubling their advantage after 35 minutes.

Hide AdMartin Cooper then struck for Steve Clegg's Scarborough side on 38 minutes, beating his man before firing in with a neat finish.
The game then turned as York took advantage of some sloppy defending and scored twice before the break to head in at 4-1 up.
Clegg rung the changes at the break, making six substitutions.
A very even second half followed as Scarborough enjoyed more possession but were not having the luck in the final third.

Hide AdGood defending by a well-drilled York rearguard meant Scarborough couldn't add to Cooper's first half goal and another York goal meant the game finished 5-1, which flattered York although they were deserving of the victory.
Niall Gibb was man of the match for Scarborough as he defended brilliantly all night, while Sam Garnett and Danny Glendinning also put in great shifts.
Scarborough League Squad: Wood, Rose, Nock, Gibb(c), Henderson, Ramos, Gallagher, Garnett, Tolliday, Glendinning, Cooper. Subs: Scaife, Craig, Vernon, Richardson, Walmsley, Reeves.
