Bank Holiday double header to build on success of Ladies’ Day
More than 11,500 race-goers enjoyed the event last Wednesday and the August Bank Holiday weekend sees two further racing event days.
The Beverley Bullet Raceday on Saturday, August 29, is the most prestigious raceday of the season on the Westwood, showcasing some of the country’s top sprinters

Hide AdRacing the following day promises to be no less competitive, but there will be plenty of family entertainment off the track.
A Sunday Hop is a family racing event where visitors can enjoy a cask ale accompanied by live music or join in the family entertainment with funfair rides and face painting.
Kate McKee of Beverley Racecourse said: “The team spend so much time and effort planning and delivering the August racing season, we are always thrilled to host successful events for customers.
“It is also really important for Beverley Racecourse to continue to attract visitors to the region, so that local businesses can significantly benefit from the additional trade.
