Sleigh-ing rivals in Santa Dash

The event covers a 1.5-mile route from Filey Country Park to Royal Parade as one of the hospice’s most colourful events hits the seafront.
Hospice fundraiser Louise Gravestock hopes lots of people will join in the fun on the morning of Sunday December 13.

Hide Ad“There’s always such a lovely atmosphere as people get into the Christmas spirit by helping others,” she said.
“It’s fabulous for us to see so many families, from babies in prams to grandparents, coming together to support our vital work.”
Adults can choose to wear Santa suits or, like the younger children, dash along wearing reindeer antlers.
The suits are £10 and fit ages 12-plus, or reindeer antlers and flashing noses are £5.

Hide AdThe hospice is also holding its Wear a Santa Suit Day on Friday December 18 when people can go to work in Santa suits or silly Christmas jumpers for a day of hospice fundraising.
