Teenage boy airlifted to hospital after falling off bike in Scarborough woods
The 15-year-old boy suffered back and arm injuries when he fell off his mountain bike in Raincliffe Woods.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team were called out to help at 2.15pm yesterday by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Hide AdThey posted on their Facebook page: "Once on scene, we established the need for our vacuum mattress and bell stretcher.
"When safely packaged, the patient was carried by team members out of the woods and down the road to the waiting air ambulance for subsequent evacuation to James Cook University Hospital and definitive medical care.
"We wish the young man a speedy recovery. "
Fifteen of the mountain rescue team were deployed for three hours.
