The day of ceremony and pageantry, on what is a bank holiday weekend, will see the King become the 40th reigning monarch to be crowned at Westminster Abbey. His wife Camilla will be crowned as Queen Camilla.

1. Saturday May 6
On Saturday May 6, Goathland Village Hall will have a free live screening of the Coronation, starting at 10am. It will be followed by an afternoon tea party between 2pm and 4pm, with music by the Blue Bridge Band, children’s games and a crown making workshop. Everyone is welcome. Photo: National World
