New club keeps young people fit and healthy
The youth club at the Gallows Close Centre is offering young people from school year 6 to 19 year olds the chance to have a go at sports, such as football and circuit training, as well as cooking and crafts.
Games and film nights will also be part of the programme at the centre on Endcliff Crescent every Thursday from 7pm to 8.30pm.

The project was funded by Sanctuary’s Grand Ideas Fund, which is accepting applications from community projects benefiting Sanctuary residents and their communities.
Kimmie Avison, one of the youth club organisers, said: “We want to promote the importance of healthy lifestyles and offer a safe and friendly place for young people and the money from Sanctuary will help us to do this.
