Scarborough borough's coronavirus infection rate falls to lowest level since September

The borough’s seven-day coronavirus infection rate per 100,000 people has dropped to 11, down three on yesterday.
It is the lowest the borough’s rate has got since September 1 last year when it also hit 11. At that time the rate was rising having dropped all the way to zero in August.

Hide AdIt means the borough is averaging just 12 new cases a week, down from 25 last week.
Scarborough’s rate is once again the lowest in the county and it remains below the national average, which is currently 20.
Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this weekend for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
