Marks & Spencer launches its first home delivery service
M&S, which has a store in Scarborough, has kept its Simply Food stores and food halls open during the coronavirus pandemic, but the delivery service will make its products available to those confined to their homes.
It says deliveries will take 30 minutes and there is a £4.99 charge.

The launch comes after rival Sainsbury's introduced a one-hour delivery service called Chop Chop, which allows customers to order a top-up shop of up to 20 items. It too charges a £4.99 delivery fee.
