Residents, businesses and local groups are being invited to take part in this year's Bridlington Pride parade.

Organisers are encouraging people to take part in the second Pride Parade along the prom on Saturday, July 6.

Stacey Mitchell, the event’s parade co-ordinator, said: “Last year was a huge success and saw more than a hundred people taking part, with lots more lining the route to show their support.

"We definitely created a spectacle and want to make this year even better, and more colourful.

"Entry to the parade is free and members of the public are invited to party with us, too.

"If your business/organisation would like to join us on our walk along the seafront, we would love to hear from you.”

There are still a limited amount of spaces available for anyone wishing to run a stall at this year’s Pride.
